Description: Venue

Cranford Country Lodge and Wedding Venue, is one of the leading midlands wedding venues in Kwa-Zulu Natal and perfectly suited for an elegant country wedding in South Africa.

We strive to provide a level of excellence that you, your family and friends will always remember, from the superb setting with friendly staff, to delicious cordon bleu meals and luxury accommodation for 60 guests.

Cranford Country Lodge is an ideal location for a destination wedding as it has a chapel, two reception venues and accommodation all on the property.

The Cranford chapel which overlooks one of our largest bass dams has been built from natural stone found on the farm and its thatched roof gives it a quaint, country character.

The thatched Lapa and large Oak Trees are a popular spot for pre reception drinks, canapés and the cutting of the wedding cake. The perfect place for everyone to mingle and unwind while the newlyweds have their photos taken.

Cranford offers two unique reception venues to choose from. The country-style Barn boasts beautiful open rafters, stone arches and romantic wagon wheel candle chandeliers that create a warm and cosy atmosphere. It exudes old world charm and has a great deal of character! Our newer venue, the Great Room is a blank canvas ready and waiting to be tailored for your dream reception. This spacious converted stable block is perfect for a variety of different themes and colours. Both venues can seat a maximum of 150 guests comfortably; however the layout of the room can be changed to accommodate a smaller party if you wish.

We would love the opportunity to tailor make your special day no matter how big or small. Our team at Cranford Country Lodge is readily available to give you our undivided personal attention and provide you with helpful suggestions and advice for your wedding day.

We will be running a facebook like and share competition where one lucky couple will win free venue hire for a date in January/February 2020 (subject to availability).
